A D Joyce, the editor at Write Phrase, has a BA in English Literature from Rutgers University.
During her 23-year career, Ms Joyce has served as a freelance editor on a number of fiction and nonfiction writing projects.She also has experience in the fast-paced world of publishing. This includes a stint editing proposals for an international civil engineering firm. Currently, Ms. Joyce edits and writes clinical and nonclinical feature articles for a leading national medical publishing group. Developing article topics, working with authors, and determining appropriate content are among her other duties.
Ms. Joyce is an avid reader and has a broad range of literary interests. She enjoys writing short stories and poetry, and still holds dear the hope of publishing the "great American novel." Her thoughts about the art of editing appear in the blue rectangles interspersed throughout this site. A resident of New Jersey, Ms. Joyce is married and is the proud mother of two college students.
